2005 was the first full year of operation for this site and we marked that by presenting our first ever awards voting for MMA, K-1 and K-1 MAX. We asked our voters to look at only official K-1 and K-1 MAX fights/events, and with MMA they were to look at all fights in MMA from any promotion worldwide. They were to look at everything that happened on the MMA scene in Japan, the US, Europe, Brazil and anywhere they thought of that took place between January 1st and December 31st 2005.
