At the press conference for the Korean K-1 MAX and HERO's event, Mr. Tanikawa gave an update on Masato's condition.

He noted that his injury, a broken leg suffered in the July World MAX Grand Prix, has not yet healed at all. He added that Masato's participation was looking doubtful at this stage.

An official announcement on whether he will face current MAX Champion, Andy Souwer, will be made at a later date.
