Welcome to Rising Promotions' first show for 2005. Our aim for this event is to give the up and coming local Muay Thai fighters a chance to step up to a new level, as well as showcasing the world class standards of Carnage and TS2.

After a brilliant 2004, both Carnage and TS2 have raised the bar in their weight classes. We are bringing two international opponents to challenge their skills once again. Carnage will fight a Thai for the first time, while TS2 will battle with a Russian.

The Gold Coasts two most promising amateur middleweights, Blake Soss and Frank Georgi, will take on Sunshine coast rivals Joe Talbot and Mick Little respectively. Mick Little has been fighting his way through our Gold Coast boys and now only Frank Georgi of Matrix Gym stands in his way. Another rising star, Evan Morris of Strike Force Gym will take on Ben Council of K6 in Brisbane. These three bouts are hot on the local scene and will decide who is stepping up faster than the others.

This is our way of thanking the fans and gyms of the Gold Coast, by providing a high Quality show for our young stars, with the cream on the pie being Carnage and TS2 fighting for Australia's Muay Thai honour.
